The US SCOTUS declined to hear challenges from AstraZeneca (AZN LN), Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY), Janssen (JNJ), Novartis (NOVN SW) and Novo Nordisk (NOVOB DC) to Medicare drug price negotiations, Axios reports

Axios says it is the latest rebuff to industry arguments that the talks with the government violate free speech protections and due process rights, among other complaints. Notes that negotiated prices are expected to save patients USD 1.5bln and Medicare USD 6bln.
