US Treasury Secretary Bessents says met with French Minister of Finance yesterday to discuss ongoing economic cooperation between the United States and France

We exchanged views on collaboration in areas such as critical minerals and multilateral economic priorities in advance of upcoming G7 and  G20 org discussions, and I highlighted my strong support for this week’s G20 event on financial literacy.     I also pressed France to lead the EU’s efforts on pressuring Iran to end its destabilizing threat.
