These sources claimed that since the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the President of the United States, the Pakistani side was informed that there is no need to hold a face-to-face meeting in Switzerland now. Pakistani media, citing a source in the Prime Minister's office, reported that the Foreign Secretary will represent Pakistan at the Switzerland meeting.
