Renault (RNO FP) +2.8%: BYD approached management on two separate occasions in recent years to propose acquiring a stake the Co.  Shell (SHEL LN) +2.3%: Prelim Q2 Upstream Production 1.75-1.85mln boepd; sees Q2 gas trading significantly higher Q/Q Q1. ITV (ITV LN) -3.8%: Downgraded to Neutral from Overweight at JPMorgan STOXX 600 Technology -1.7%: Samsung Electronics shares fell 9.5% in Korean trade, despite reporting record profits which topped most analyst expectations. Investors remain concerned about elevated valuations within the sector.
