For example, providing security itself is a service.""This memorandum of understanding has opened the way for a legal, political, and diplomatic path that ultimately will lead to a system for administering the Strait of Hormuz—so that both our interests are ensured and our sovereignty is exercised. We will not leave this issue; we will certainly follow it until it reaches a result. And wherever it is necessary to use force, finally force will be used—just as happened in the past few nights. But we must know that in the end we have to reach an acceptable formula with credibility for the Strait of Hormuz; a formula under which both calm is established in the Strait and ships can transit with security."
