AWS (AMZN) is raising the price for its AI workload rental service by 20%, The Information reports

AWS’s price increase affects its EC2 Capacity Blocks, which is a service that lets businesses rent out space to run AI workloads in advance, on Nvidia GPUs.  Prices won’t be increased for Capacity Blocks using Amazon’s Trainium chips. Amazon didn’t give a reason for the price increase, other than noting pricing is “updated periodically based on supply and demand.”
