Iran's Director of the Sonar Institute for Strategic Studies says "a new round of talks has begun in Doha, and according to Iranian sources, these talks are not direct and are being conducted through a Qatari intermediary"

"The focus is on a few basic points, and if an agreement is not reached on these issues, it will not be possible to continue the talks".  "In recent days, there have been clashes between Iran and the US, and Washington has tried to create new waterways outside of Iran's control, which is considered a form of circumvention".  "As a result, some of these movements have led to the targeting of a ship and the US's response, indicating a type of blatant maneuver in the region".
