Iran has been harassing ships for too long in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran does not control the Strait. US won't need to enter Iranian airspace or waters as part of opening Strait of Hormuz. Hundreds more ships are lining up to transit the Strait of Hormuz. US blockade remains in full effect. Centcom and partner nations are in active talks with hundres of ships, shipping companies and insurers. Iran will face over whelming firepower if it attacks commercial ships. Reiterates this is a temporary mission for hte US. Expects the world to step up. At an appropriate time, it will be handing responsibility of Hormuz back to allies as they are more dependent on it.
