Oman's Foreign Ministry says the two sides discussed strengthening coordination on issues related to the Strait of Hormuz and affirmed a commitment to adhere to international law

Explored a cooperation framework for navigation and maritime services based on their status as littoral states. We do not support receiving "tolls" in the Strait of Hormuz, but we will discuss mechanisms related to the costs of maritime services, navigation safety, emergencies and combating pollution with models similar to the Straits of Malacca and Singapore.
