Hey. All right. Hey, welcome to Connect. What a wild time to be building. Delivering personal super intelligence is now within reach. Soon everyone is going to have an extremely capable personal agent that understands your goals and can work 24/7 on your behalf to help you achieve them, whether that is helping you improve your relationships, helping you be more present with your friends and family, saving you time, saving you money, helping you create things, helping advance your career. The technology now exists to make this all possible. It is no secret that people in the industry have a wide range of views about how the future is going to go. But at Meta, we are optimists because we believe in people. We believe that the best way to create a positive future for everyone is to put power in people's hands.

We believe that empowering people is the source of prosperity in the world, that the highest purpose of super intelligence is creation and invention, not automation, and that the path to a safe future is to distribute this technology widely and create the right checks and balances rather than concentrating it in the hands of just a few. What does it look like when all of this works? When every person can do more of what we dream and spend more time with the people and on the things that really matter. It is the simple idea that when you empower people, our lives get better. Yet this idea has become surprisingly controversial. I am more and more convinced that the reason why Meta exists, why we succeed, and why more people use our services than any others in the world is because we actually believe in people.

Building is an act of love. It's how we impart what we believe. We pour our hearts and our souls into what we make. We struggle over the big details and the small ones. It's not always easy. Sometimes whole years are hard. We build because this is who we are. The centerpiece of our vision for what we're building is Muse. This is the personal agent that we shipped a few weeks ago that it's already helping millions of people with all kinds of different things. In the coming years, I expect that Muse is going to grow into the personal super intelligence that billions of people around the world are going to use to accomplish their goals and improve their lives. I am really proud of the work that Nat and the whole team who worked on this did.

Nat is an absolute legend, for those of you who haven't gotten the chance to work with him. The team that's worked on this is one of the most talented that I have ever seen. So congratulations and it's off to a great start. The basic architecture gives every Muse its own private and secure computer. The Muse secure VM is extremely advanced and is ahead of anyone else in the industry. The Muse Spark model is trained specifically to excel as a personal agent. There are so many fun and novel parts of this experience, from the ability to set your goals to having Muse share its own ideas for how it can help you, to having it research and generate its own custom feed for you, to that jolly and completely customizable character and personality. That little guy's name is Jolly, by the way. All right. Muse also has a novel business model.

We believe that Muse will make you money. We're standing behind this by making Muse free for a huge number of tokens with the expectation that over time we will profit by taking a small fee from transactions. In the first few weeks it has been really exciting and has brought us a lot of joy to see all of the ways that people are using Muse.
