StockNow Studio · Changelog
Changelog
StockNow Studio lets you know inside the app when a new version is available. Here is what changed in each release.
Separate windows and improved earnings call playback
New
- In the desktop app, open menu tabs in separate windows to view multiple screens side by side.
- Right-click a tab and choose Open in New Window, use ⌘+click on macOS or Ctrl+click on Windows, or drag the tab outside the app window.
- Right-click or ⌘/Ctrl+click items in disclosures, watchlists, the screener, earnings, breaking news and news lists to open their details in separate windows.
Improvements
- Adjust earnings call replay speed from 0.5x to 3x in 0.05x steps.
- The mini player and earnings call settings show the same speed, and your selection carries over to other calls. Live calls play at 1x.
- Playing an earnings call or Nowcast in one desktop window automatically pauses audio in other windows.
- Now's price alerts lead with confirmed changes and relevant context, adding explanations of causes and uncertainty when needed for the claim.
- Now's phone notifications show the summary or explanation first. Grouped notifications include the actual news, and long text ends with an ellipsis.
Fixes
- Made scrollbar visibility and auto-hide behavior consistent across screens. Scrollbars appear while scrolling, hide shortly afterward and remain visible while held.
StockNow Studio free open beta
New
- StockNow Studio is now in free open beta. Free members can use Studio; Pro-only data and features still require the appropriate subscription.
- Create and manage StockNow MCP clients in Settings under AI connections, for AI services such as Gemini that ask you to enter a client ID and secret.
Improvements
- Now improvements
- Choose Now's news style: Detailed changes, Follow the trend or Essential changes only. Follow the trend is the default.
- Now checks supported bookmarks for new posts, videos and price changes, including the Fed, Truth Social, RSS/Atom and YouTube. Adjust exclusions, topics and delivery preferences through chat.
- Bookmark monitoring runs while the desktop app and Now are on.
- Retired the separate Focused Tracking feature offered during beta. Existing conversations and research results are preserved.
- Notes improvements
- Clip podcast pages into notes based on episode transcripts. Use the audio player and timestamp links in the note to listen to specific passages.
- Web, PDF and YouTube clips are organized by topic, with improved source links back to original passages, PDF pages and video timestamps.
- Added text colors, highlights, font sizes and image captions to notes. External images are saved as note attachments so they also appear on shared pages.
- Podcast transcription uses public transcripts when available, or transcribes the original audio on your device in a batch to reduce processing time.
- The redesigned start guide includes an introduction, feature demos and step-by-step help for AI, brokerage connections and web clipping, with videos and thumbnails in four languages.
- Mini charts can show regular hours only or include premarket and after-hours trading. A trading-hours-based time axis makes intraday moves easier to compare.
- Added a country filter to the earnings call list.
- Pro members can download available earnings call transcripts as PDFs directly from the earnings list and a stock's earnings tab.
- Turn on the important-news-only filter in the breaking news panel to focus on relevant updates.
KB Securities integration and richer AI notes
New
- Added KB Securities Open API integration. View holdings, asset history and order history across Toss Securities and KB Securities, or separately for each connection.
- KB Securities supports Korean cash equities, U.S. stocks denominated in USD, D+2 KRW cash balances and the last 90 days of order history.
- KB Securities USD cash and other products are excluded from asset totals. Daily profit and loss is estimated from price changes in current holdings.
- Choose GPT-6.1 Terra for chat, notes and scheduled tasks.
- Choose models for deep analysis, balanced tasks and quick responses in Agent settings. Earnings call AI commentary now supports both Claude and Codex.
Improvements
- Improved AI writing, editing and sharing for notes.
- Follow AI writing and web clipping progress on a dedicated note page. Read the draft as it develops and continue to the finished note on the same page.
- AI-written notes now support earnings call quote blocks with original text, translation, speaker and timestamps. Play just the quoted segment or continue listening from that point.
- Pro members can use available IR presentations as sources for AI-written notes and attach relevant slides.
- View note images in a full-screen slideshow in Studio and on shared pages.
- Public notes can play quoted earnings call segments when an audio clip for sharing has been created. Listening to the full call requires sign-in and the appropriate access permissions.
- Indent and outdent note paragraphs, headings and blocks with Tab and Shift+Tab. Drag, duplicate, move or delete individual list items.
- Open StockNow news, disclosure and earnings call links from notes inside Studio. Returning to the note restores your reading position.
- Changing a stock chart's candle interval preserves your selected period and adjusts the visible range to avoid showing too few candles.
- Breaking news articles open with the full text expanded by default. Switching to another article also shows its text immediately.
Fixes
- Fixed some PDFs downloading instead of opening directly in the built-in browser.
- Removed empty reaction rows from Lounge messages without emoji reactions and refined the placement of reaction and reply buttons.
Redesigned notes and Lounge updates
New
- Studio notes now offer powerful features.
- Group notes into subpages and organize them by dragging. Link to other notes with @ or [[ in the editor, and turn blocks into subpages.
- Use AI to save Studio browser pages or selections as notes. Summarize YouTube captions, descriptions and chapters into notes, with timestamp links to play each section.
- Publish notes through links and control sharing and web search engine visibility.
- Ask AI chat to write a document, follow progress in the writing card and receive the finished draft as a note.
- Ask AI to visualize stock price trends, revenue comparisons and profit and loss breakdowns in various charts. Refine them with follow-up requests and save them in your notes.
- Lounge now supports message reactions, replies, mentions, profile viewing and link previews. Manage community notifications in settings.
- Added Studio usage statistics to Agent settings. View Claude and Codex token usage recorded by Studio on this device by period, feature and model.
Improvements
- Choose watchlist display combinations for price, percentage change and price change. You can also show regular-session and extended-hours percentage changes together.
- Make the desktop window narrower and restore its last size and maximized state when reopening the app.
Note visualizations, Now Agent and mobile integration
New
- Now suggests follow-up research as new data arrives. Delegate updates, or schedule, edit and cancel checks in chat. Now and the desktop app must be running.
- No set time is needed for follow-ups: “Update Apple’s earnings outlook when new information arrives” or “Research the impact of new developments involving Nvidia’s competitors”.
- Try: “30 minutes after open, check Samsung’s high and low for that period”, “In an hour, check if Apple recovered yesterday’s close”, or “Summarize new Tesla news at 3 PM today”.
- Set price and percentage-change monitoring rules for watchlist stocks. Monitoring stops when the desktop app closes or the computer sleeps.
- Added mobile Now integration for questions, updates and answers. Requires matching server/mobile updates, the same account and mobile linking; requests run while Studio is running.
- Open supported stock, news and other screens directly on mobile.
- AI chat now automatically includes the active tab’s URL, title and selected text from the built-in browser, without copying links or pasting quotes.
- In macOS Studio notes, use Data visualization to ask your connected Claude or Codex to create charts from stock price and financial data.
- Refine charts with follow-up requests and inspect their data, query criteria and analysis code. Generated charts are also included in PDF exports.
Improvements
- Continue one Now chat in the side or main view. Send parallel requests, inspect details or stop them. Retry failed, cancelled or interrupted requests sent from Studio.
- Now suggests changes to how it delivers news and to notification settings. Review and apply, adjust, or keep your current settings; only accepted changes are applied.
- Customize moving average periods in stock charts, and add or remove moving average lines.
- Add note blocks from the / menu, reorder them by dragging or using the block menu, and duplicate them from the block menu.
- Codex AI chat now shows guidance to choose another model when an error indicates that the selected model is unavailable with your current ChatGPT account.
Fixes
- Fixed stock charts to reflect the latest trade price and automatically adjust the date range when changing the bar interval to show more historical bars.
- Fixed mismatched or delayed Korean stock and index quotes between watchlists and instrument details.
- Fixed minimize, maximize and close buttons being hard to see in the Windows light theme.
- Fixed instructions and error messages not updating immediately after changing the language on the external service connection consent screen.
Haiku 5.5 support and AI tool approval improvements
New
- You can now select Haiku 5.5 for desktop AI chats, notes and scheduled tasks.
Fixes
- Fixed built-in app tools being blocked in Codex even when allow-all mode or preapproved tool settings were configured.
AI screener and watchlist group improvements
New
- Added US stock screener filters for RSI and days since a golden cross, death cross, or bullish or bearish MACD crossover.
- Drag to reorder groups/stocks or move stocks across groups; right-click to move/remove stocks or rename groups. Add/remove stocks via checkboxes. Default group name/position is saved on this device.
- Choose watchlist news alerts by article type: New developments, Analysis & opinion, or Other. You can also ask the AI to change these selections.
Improvements
- Build AI filters directly in the screener. Review changes from your current filters, estimated result counts and unsupported conditions before applying them.
Now event reminders and chart indicators
New
- Desktop Now lists watched stocks' earnings and calls for 7 days ahead. Per your settings, it alerts you to events within 24 hours, calls scheduled to start within 30 minutes, and schedule changes.
- Enable EMA, RSI and MACD in stock chart indicator settings, and show or hide trading volume.
- Added a light/dark mode button for pages in the desktop in-app browser. Pages default to light mode; support depends on the website.
Improvements
- Now checks article and filing content alongside earlier reports, with improved responses that distinguish new developments, repeated news, plans and confirmed facts.
- Improved how Now explains price moves, with clearer reference times and distinctions between changes from the previous close and changes over a recent interval.
Fixes
- Fixed Now cards showing falling percentages in the rising color. Cards now distinguish a closed trading session from a market holiday.
- Improved automatic recovery when Toss Securities authentication expires or becomes invalid, and fixed repeated credential refreshes caused by concurrent requests.
Now AI assistant and AI agent improvements
New
- Turn on Now in the desktop side menu (off by default) for updates on stocks and sites in your watchlist, assets and bookmarks. Chat with Now to customize updates and alerts.
- Added Claude Sonnet 5.5 and GPT-6.1 Sol, and migrated saved Sonnet 5 and GPT-6 Sol selections to their new versions.
- Choose between your existing system account and a Studio-specific account for Claude and Codex.

- Improved citation guidance so agent chats and reports prioritize original news source links.
- Track note export progress and elapsed time, view failure reasons, retry failed exports and open saved files.

- Added status checks, setup and recovery for the Codex execution environment on Windows.
- Stabilized scroll tracking for earnings-call transcripts and AI commentary, and removed unnecessary underlines from commentary.
- Improved selecting and copying the full body of Markdown reports.

- Instrument names are shown in your selected language.
- When a new version is found, you can review what changed right inside the app.
- Added Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol and Luna to the AI agent and moved the default models to the new generation. Older models are labeled as previous generation.

New

- Tasks (Closed Beta): hand recurring research such as a morning briefing to the agent on a schedule and receive the results as a report.
- Bookmarks show YouTube live status and external market data at a glance, and open right in the built-in browser.
- Keep captions, translations, articles, and ideas inside the workspace with notes and clips.
- Connect a Toss Securities account (Korea) to track your holdings and returns.
